Stay. Eat. Sleep. Eat.

The Berkeley is not short of good eating and drinking. Grolet. The Pret-A-Portea. The Blue Bar. They’re all, basically, the sort of thing even Londoners consider when they’re going out.

And then there’s Marcus Wareing’s award-winning, titular restaurant Marcus.

Which, frankly, is also the sort of thing even Londoners consider when they’re going out.

And now the hotel has made the latter even more appealing with A Foodie Adventure with Marcus Wareing.

To be fair, we’re not sure it’s much of an “adventure”. You’re not being sent out into neighbouring Hyde Park to catch and roast squirrels or playing forager’s roulette with mushrooms / toadstools. You’re staying overnight in a thoughtfully designed room or suite, with Laurent Perrier on ice on arrival. You then head to Marcus at The Berkeley for seven courses of Michelin-starred tasting menu for two, and a behind the scenes tour – with more champagne – of the chef’s kitchen. You’ll get a signed copy of Marcus Wareing’s cookbook, breakfast the next day and you’ve got access to the rooftop pool. Adventure? More just, er, really nice way to spend 24 hours being looked after and fed. Which probably explains why we do this and The Berkeley do the marketing…

Whatever you call it, you can book it right here.
