Until the end of May, the World’s Best Steak menu is available in London

Lots of places claim to serve the world’s best steaks. For the rest of May 2022, London’s Heliot Steak House may just be delivering them.

Executive chef Ioannis Grammenos – Heliot’s exec chef and, it says here, the world’s first Meatologist – is head judge at the World Steak Challenge, a prestigious international annual competition that, actually, does seem to know what it’s talking about.

The competition’s award winners will form the heart of Heliot’s menu until May 31st, such as an Irish Aberdeen Angus Sirloin steak, dry-aged with sea salt for 35 days, and Austrian and Argentinean rib eyes. They’ll be available, alongside the restaurant’s usual range of steaks, as stand alone cuts and as special dishes such as Irish Sirloin Tataki, and Austrian beef tartare, with bone marrow, marjoram and capers and paired, as ever, with wines selected by General Manager and Head of Wine Salvo Russo.

Bookings to this – cough – rare experience can be made here.
