Sleek Scandi restaurant Aquavit launches a new series of tasting menus.

Which, due to a typo, nearly came out as tasing menu, which sounds like something specialist offered in apartments in Soho.

But we digress…

Aquavit, the little slice of Scandinavia in London’s St James’s Market’s is launching a series of tasting menus on the last Friday of each month. Beginning Friday 30th September (then 28th October and 25th November), the Savour of Scandinavia features six unique, off-menu courses for £95 per person, with an optional drinks pairing available for an additional £85.

Dinners take place in the restaurant’s intimate Copenhagen private dining room, on a communal table and with each course introduced by Head Chef Jonas Karlsson. For the opening night, diners can expect dishes such as: smoked salmon, sour cream and dill; potato foam with autumn truffle; Orkney scallop and braised pork belly with cauliflower and caviar and  Highland roe deer with chocolate and beetroot.
