Anyone for (Michelin-starred food and) tennis?

The joys of Wimbledon are obvious but, well, mixed? There’s the corporate hospitality, where the pleasures of tennis and day drinking are so mewhat marred by the small talk. There’s the vague hope of tickets in the ballot. There’s the day entry, running around and attempting to beat the masses…

Hence we were delighted to discover the existence of The Treehouse, a new venture from Keith Prowse, launching at this year’s tournament. Well, the forthcoming existence. At this point it’s so new an idea, it only exists in concept photos with oddly transparent people. But when it does exist, from June 2022?

We’re talking food by Tom Sellers – holder of two Michelin stars at Restaurant Story. Prime viewing over Centre Court or No, 1 Court. A large, flexible seating area with luxurious interiors, not to mention balconies overlooking the garden space and lake, and offering views of the city. A cocktail programme put together by in-house mixologists. Chilled champagne aplenty. We mean, we can even forgive them the live DJ in the circumstances…

Packages, starting from £850pp, are available for the first ten days of the Wimbledon Championships 2022.
