VIP, a bespoke luxury ski chalet company is enhancing service levels in a number of its chalets in the French Alps for the forthcoming winter season 2009/2010 with a new VIP Platinum Collection.

The new company will offer personal chefs who will liaise directly with guests prior to their skiing holiday so that bespoke menus can be prepared personally. Organic produce, the finest locally sourced cheeses, French or International cuisine, all palates and ages will be fully catered. The dining experience will be enhanced by a selection of wines and champagne from a private cellar selected by the Platinum Master Sommelier.

The VIP Platinum Collection will include a private chauffeur with dedicated 4X4 vehicle. The Platinum properties all have outdoor hot tubs, sauna or hammam and private cinema.

Managing Director of VIP, Andy Sturt commented, “We have some exceptional properties within our VIP ski portfolio, we now intend to complement this in a few select locations with an enhanced guest experience. We recognise that in these more austere times there is still a demand for excellence of service, but that this has to be at a sensible price. By launching our new VIP Platinum Collection we will be offering the ultimate ski experience and outstanding value for money.”

Chalet Davos, Val d’Isere and Taiga Lodge, Meribel will be the first chalets in the VIP Platinum Collection with enhanced services.
