The President of the Maldives, Mohamed Nasheed, opened the resort yesterday. The 52-acre private resort joins the nearby Conrad Maldives Rangali Island as part of Hilton’s ongoing expansion in the Maldives.

“I am delighted to be here for the inauguration of this beautiful resort and am sure that the Hilton family will continue to set the standard for hospitality excellence In the Maldives with its latest opening”, commented President Nasheed.

He continued to praise Hilton, especially the way they support local schools and introduce environmental initiaitives into the local area.

The Resort is situated in the idyllic Noonu Atoll. Guests can enjoy five-star service straight after landing, with the exclusive Hilton lounge at Male International Airport offering excellent service, before departing by seaplane to the resort.

There are in-villa and private dining options, a beach drinks service as well as four restaurants to choose from.

Spa aficionados will be treated to a new programme of treatments using world-class Thalgo products, housed in the stunning spa sanctuary featuring 21 private spa pavilions as well as hydrotherapy pools, fitness centre and Yoga and meditation areas.
