No doubt one of the stunning jewels of modern Marrakech, Palais Namaskar (all Feng Shui, private villas and glistening waterfalls) celebrates its first birthday this month.

A very worthy member of the Oetker Collection, the idyllic resort has invited three top chefs from its sister hotel – Le Bristol in Paris – to pop across to share their secrets of French gastronomy. Sorry, guests of Le Bristol… we can only imagine what sub-par, three Michelin-star food you’re being supplemented with in their absence.

The party at the Palais will be food-centric and will see the exceptional Eric Frechon (Head Chef of Le Bristol’s Epicure), Eric Desbordes of 114 Faubourg (Le Bristol’s Michelin-star brasserie) and Laurent Jeannin (Le Bristol’s pastry chef and recently elected Pastry Chef of The Year) oversee the restaurant Le Namaskar for one week, bringing their signature dishes from Paris to Marrakech and presumably causing mass salivation.

For those not immediately arranging to fly out there for a week of foodie heaven; you have fun attempting that Waitrose Kitchen recipe tonight!
