As car parks go, this has got to be one of the most exclusive. And not a ticket inspector in sight.

Goodwood is introducing a new car park at this summer’s Festival of Speed. Reserved for selected supercars only (as chosen by a panel of Goodwood experts), the new forward parking area means you can just pull up in your Ferrari, Lamborghini or Maserati, stroll on in and get involved in the action – leaving your fine automobile to become an integral part of the festival, and one of the star attractions.

Anyone with an elite set of wheels can apply, provided it’s a true piece of exotica, as listed on Goodwood’s ‘Eligible Supercar List’. The area will be packed full of current and historic Formula 1 cars and teams, Le Mans winners and competition motorcycles, rally cars, pre-War racers, touring cars, and the very latest supercars. Organisers are expecting it to attract some of the greatest road-going cars ever made, including some lesser-known models rarely seen in public.

Located just above the Formula 1 paddocks within the festival site, total capacity will be around 300 vehicles – accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, with all slots expected to sell-out fast (so best sign up now). If you’re interested in adding your hypercar to the line up, just contact the Ticket Office for consideration, with Goodwood’s eligibility decision being final.

Goodwood Festival of Speed will be running from Friday 12 July to Sunday 14 July, 2013.
