Just in case the previous DB9 wasn’t perfect enough for you (it probably was), the DB9 MY13 boasts new styling, revised engineering and enhanced luxury.

It might not be the most powerful car in the world, but it’s arguably one of the best. Closely following the release of the recent Vanquish Super GT, the launch of the DB9 brings with it a few subtle, but great DB changes.

With a style reminiscent of the Aston Martin Virage (of which production has now ceased), the silhouette is elegant, with the addition of a rear boot ‘flip’ to enhance aerodynamics. Available in either Coupe or Volante styles, there’s also the option of a carbon fibre front splitter for those who like their cars sporty. Carbon Ceramic Brakes are standard, and the updated 6.0 litre V12 engine provides 517 PS, 0-62 mph in 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 183 mph.

The real beauty of the car can be seen upon closer inspection. Take the front grille, for example – inspired by the sold-out One-77 hypercar, the grille is made up of five carefully constructed horizontal vanes. The bonnet vents (also with distinctive vanes) are zinc, which along with the pronounced side strakes, are classic Aston Martin.

They know what they like, and they do it very well.
