This year’s Chivas ‘Made for Gentlemen’ collaboration is with the (usually) aviation-themed watch company Bremont. It’s a good fit in more ways than one: Bremont, like Chivas, was founded by two brothers, both passionate about craftsmanship and investing in the details that matter.

After a visit to the Strathisla distillery where they met Chivas Master Blender Colin Scott, Nick and Giles English were inspired to create a unique piece of history: the Bremont ‘Chivalry’ watch. Coming in a limited edition of only twelve, each will contain a piece of Chivas oak cask, and etched on every rotor is the signature of brothers James & John Chivas. Take off the back, and the delicious fragrance of Scotch blended whisky emanates.

The film, meanwhile, shows the charming Nick and Giles, separately being asked questions designed to find out what makes each of them ahem, tick. Worth watching for astute answers to questions like ‘who’s the bigger gentleman?’ and ‘who’d win in an arm wrestle’. It’ll also finally put to bed that age-old question of which arm your watch should really be worn on. Actually it doesn’t.

Charity auction of the Bremont ‘Chivalry’ limited edition watch, crafted in honour of the Chivas brothers James and John Chivas, will go live 20.000 GMT on Wednesday 22nd October, via www.chivas.com/bremont. Proceeds will go to The Prince’s Trust Enterprise Programme.
