Super scenery, super car.

OK, yes, it’s a Porsche but you try and write that pun…

Specialist travel company Off The Map have a new adventure on their books: seven days in an electric Porsche, traversing the Norwegian fjords.

It’s a breathtaking journey, of outstanding scenery, dramatic coastlines, mountain passes, sea-spanning bridges, labyrinthine tunnels and all in an emission-free supercar.

The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo comes with pre-programmed routes along these award-winning roads (no, really, it’s a thing), showcasing Norway’s National Tourist Routes. It has a 283-mile range, a charging planner that optimises your route based on remaining power and it’s also spacious enough to pack a week’s luggage, should you be concerned about having sufficient pants.

“We wanted to create a new experience for people to travel through the stunning Norwegian fjords in style and comfort without impacting the environment,” explains Jonny Cooper, Off the Map Travel’s founder. “This new experience takes it to a whole new level, with quiet open roads enabling guests to test out the power behind this electric supercar on the ultimate road trip.”

In addition to the supercar, the accommodation is rather wonderful too, and shares the same ethos of minimal environmental impact. Expect eco toiletries, locally sourced produce, onsite electrical vehicles and, obviously, onsite chargers to get you to your next stop.

The seven-day, six-night itinerary costs from £7899 per person, on a full board basis, based on two people travelling, not including flights. For more information, call Off The Map Travel on 0800 566 8901, email info@offthemap.travel or click here
