And, in the case of Novikov, it’s been around for ten years.

Cast your mind back to December 2011. The X Factor had just created Little Mix. Bolton Wanderers were still a Premiership side. The Marvel Universe was five films in, rather than 26.

And celebrated legendary Russian restaurateur Arkady Novikov had just launched his first overseas venture in London’s Mayfair.

That same venture – the “double-restauranted” Novikov Restaurant and Bar celebrates is now celebrating a decade in business.  And, maintaining the numerical theme, they’re giving away a series of unique prizes at 10pm for ten nights.

Starting 22nd November 2021, anyone dining at either Novikov’s Italian or Asian restaurants will be entered into the draw. Prizes include a chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce for a day, an overnight stay at the Dorchester, a case of Louis Roederer champagne, a family portrait shot by renowned photographer Adrian Houston, even a private tour of Kew Gardens by its former Head of Arboretum, Tony Kirkham MBE, VMH.

Other celebratory gestures include a new cocktail, Ten-abulous, from bar manager Andrew Pengelly, a Moscow Mule inspired blend of Citron vodka, Amontillado sherry, St Germain elderflower, fresh lime juice and Old Jamaica ginger beer, infused with pomegranate, because it’s a favourite ingredient of founder Arkady Novikov. Topped up with prosecco, the drink is then served in a “podstakannik”, a traditional Russian tea glass holder.

Celebrations also include the return of the Mayfair Christmas Market – in expanded form – from Thursday 25th through Saturday 27th November, from 11am to 9pm.

Novikov Restaurant & Bar is at 50A Berkeley Street, London W1. You can find more information / booking information online here.
