Wine glass producer, Riedel, are celebrating the launch of their latest collection by hosting a sensory wine tasting in London later this month.

The new Performance Range has already been described as a loudspeaker for fine wines and features a unique optical effect on the bowl of the glass. The new glassware range is not only aesthetically beautiful, but the additional surface area that the creation of the optical effect gives, increases the inner surface area, allowing the wine to open up and fully show every aroma and subtle nuance.

On September 27th, Maximilian Riedel, 11th generation CEO of Riedel, will be in London to host a comparative white and red wine tasting that enthusiasts and professionals alike will not want to miss. Maximilian will lead guests through a sensory experience, showcasing the phenomenal new range and the difference that glassware can make to the ability to enjoy fine wine.

Whether your tipple of choice is Chardonnay, Champagne, Cabernet Sauvignon, or Spirits, what makes the Performance glasses unique is that they are numbered from RP-1 to RP-7, to allow each glass to be easily matched to a specific grape varietal, thus ensuring optimum wine enjoyment every time.

The tasting will take place at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London where Maximilian will guide those present through six wines.

Tickets are now available from £60 per person from www.riedel.com.
