If you’re anything like us, you’re fairly partial to a flute or two (or three) of Laurent-Perrier, and you’ll certainly have a few women in your life who appreciate things of a floral nature. Let us remind you then, of this year’s fast approaching 100th edition of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Sure, you might have done it all before (or indeed avoided it in the past) but this year a few tasty tweaks have been made – most significantly in the form of alcoholic beverages. To celebrate this year’s Laurent-Perrier garden, the Blue Bar at The Berkeley London have developed a floral cocktail with a Nordic twist in honour of Swedish garden designer Ulf Nordfjell, who created the romantic-contemporary garden in question.

The hotel have captured the light freshness of Champagne Laurent-Perrier Brut and combined it with the essence of a lavender garden. Scandinavian Acquavit is blended with Crème de Violet, both apple liquor and juice, and topped off with champagne to complete this sweet-as-can-be cocktail. Major boyfriend/husband points for introducing her to this one.

Not one to miss out on the action, The Dorchester have put together a mighty tasty sounding floral-themed afternoon tea that’ll be available throughout Chelsea Flower Show week.

So, whether you end up taking your mother for tea and champers or your wifey for tipsy-inducing floral love punch, make sure you treat yourself to several much-deserved glasses of L-P’s finest!
