Thought you knew how to enjoy champagne? Unless you appreciate the years of work that went into creating that chilled glass of Krug Grande Cuvée, you probably don’t.

For one week only, the House of Krug and the Philharmonia Orchestra are holding an experiential exhibition celebrating the annual recreation of Krug Grande Cuvee, in the heart of London.

Taking you on a journey from the first picking of the grapes accompanied by a single violin solo, and ending at the beautiful sound of a full Orchestra and the delicate taste of Krug Grande Cuvee, you’ll get to watch unique footage showing the intricate details of both the music and the Champagne.

The Krug Celebration 2014 is the extraordinary meeting of two talents: Krug Cellar Master, Eric Lebel, and Esa-Pekka Salonen, Principal Conductor and Artistic Advisor of the Philharmonia Orchestra.

Both were filmed for hours at work; one performing Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring and the other recreating Krug Grande Cuvée with the precision and savoir-faire for which they’re recognised the world over. Between them, classical music and Krug Champagne will be experienced together like never before.

The event will take place in Shoreditch from the 7th – 11th of April. Book online from the 12th of March at www.krug.com. £60 pounds/person for two glasses of Krug Grande Cuvée and the full musical experience of an hour and a half.
